TIMES [EN]
THE WOMAN ART GALLERY 10.–25.6.2023 Time is the continuous sequence of events that follow each other, the sequence remains irreversible. Time has a special meaning for each of us, no one can experience the past day in a new way. The exhibiting artists invite us to immerse ourselves in moments, to witness moments that they have frozen in their works in various media. LAMA ALTAKRURI freezes moments, time she spent in coffee shops in Zug and in Ramallah. The illustrations consist of single sentences and stamped images in ink. The works give us insight into her reality, make us think, smile and dream. SUZANNE LOPATA captures moments of tranquility in her paintings. The artist renders reality in such a detailed and vivid way that you can feel the smell of the grass, the touch of the wind on your skin and the warmth of the sun. NAOMI MIDDELMANN visualizes time, point by point. At first glance they may be just patterns, but if you look closely, you can feel a wide range of different emotions...
